As the Lead Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for mentoring new employees and facilitate their training to become proficient in pharmacy operation.  As needed throughout the year, you will assist the department manager with performance evaluations for the pharmacy technicians.  You'll be asked to assist with management of pharmaceutical inventory with the use of the Cardinal Inventory Management system. You will also troubleshot mechanical issues with Dosis machines and other equipment.

You teach, mentor, and inspire each member of your team to give their best and continue to develop professionally and ensure they have the training and resources necessary to perform their jobs effectively. Your ability to prioritize tasks and organize workflow will be used to complete schedules for Pharmacy Technicians and track attendance.


  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a long term care pharmacy environment
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
  • Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding, pharmacy automation, hazardous medication, and emergency kit preparation
  • Solid pharmacological knowledge about brand and generic drugs and controlled substances
